Site Analysis

For - Can’t Break Your Hip House, Blue Mountains, NSW

Our process of site analysis is in=depth, considered and immersive.

For this project in the Blue Mountains, NSW, we walked a week either side of the site and camped on the site for a week. Through the journey, we spend the time observing, documenting, listening, drawing and learning from local clues about how best to respond to that place.

These lessons are then collated into a zine (a5 booklet) and become the important guide-book to refer back to throughout the entire design process to ensure design decisions are appropriate for the place.
