Bobbie will be part of a public online event celebrating Utzon on World Architecture Day - “Making History and Shaping Tomorrow”.
The blurb goes something like this:
Join host Tim Horton, NSW Land and Environment Court Commissioner and a panel of cross-generational architects to discuss the Opera House’s design inspiration, construction and influence on the next generation.
- Abbie Galvin, NSW Government Architect Abbie is a member of the Sydney Opera House Conservation Council and Design Advisory Panel.
- Professor Richard Johnson AO MBE, Founding Director, Johnson Pilton Walker Richard created the Utzon Design Principles with Utzon and his son Jan following his reengagement in 1999.
- Eoghan Lewis, Principal, Eoghan Lewis Architects Eoghan is an architect, founder of Sydney Architecture Walks and lecturer specialising in the design methodology of Utzon.
- Bobbie Bayley, University of Newcastle Bobbie is a Masters of Architecture student and MADE by the Opera House 2020 alumna.
Make it an Utzon double bill by watching the film Jørn Utzon: The Man & The Architect after the talk at 8pm on From Our House To Yours.
